This data is based on swimming lesson in 2018/19 when the children were in Y5 as well as discussions with parents of children that received private swimming lessons. This is because these pupils were due to receive swimming tuition in Y6 during the academic year 2019/20,  in the Summer Term 2020.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the resultant closure of leisure facilities and partial closure of schools between 20th March 2020 and 17th July 2020 in accordance with Governmental guidance, Summer Term 2020 swimming lessons could not take place.

The current Year 6 cohort, with the exception of a small number of Key Worker children for whom childcare was required, was not attending school during this period. We are now prioritising swimming lessons for our current Y5 and Y6 pupils this term as pools have re-opened. This data will be updated on these children at the end of the summer term.
